BMW 435i Coupe
Say goodbye to the 3-series coupes and say hello to the 4-series! This is a confident looking car with a wide body.
While the 3-series has made a 38-year run, five-generation, the 3-series is stepping down and letting the 4-series take over. This is all part BMW's plan to unveil the -2, -4, -6, and -8 series.
This car features a swept back silhouette and wide stance. All the classic BMW elements are still present: the kidney-shaped grille, outstanding lines on the flanks, and a Hofmeister kick in the rear windows.
The trunk lid is from 3-series sedan, but other than that, everything else is unique about the 4-series coupe. The large steel structure is said to be 55 pounds lighter. The torsional rigidity has also risen a massive 60%! It's slightly larger than the 3-series coupe, only slightly. The length of the car has increased an inch, width has increased by 1.7 inches and the height has dropped a half-inch.
Even with outstanding looks on the exterior, the 435i looks very similar to the sedan. The dash, infotainment monitor and switchgear are all brought back with minor changes. But the door trims, rear quarters and seats are new in a move to give the new two-door a slightly more luxurious feel. The coupe's front seats are a half-inch lower than the sedan's. The dash is at the same height and it looks as if it is higher. The rear still has 2 seats in the back making the car a 4-seater.
With a brand new series, this car is going to step up the standards for all other brands!
